Today’s Sketch of the day in my moleskine art journal is a giant squirrell. Im working on a series of merchandise for a brand new eco centre up on Penang Hill and I’m exploring some ideas of what to print. This cute little fella could be one of them. I have quite a lot of drawings from Penang hill. When I have time I need to sort them out. The day flies by so quickly. I need to sit down
and seriously work……

That is so sweet. The squirrells here are completely wild. There are a few living in my house. I don’t know why they want to live indoors when it’s so nice outside

I love squirrels. There are so many here, and they’re quite tame. So, if I were to present a handful of peanuts to a squirrel passing by, it would most likely hop towards me and nibble from my hand. I’ve had one actually pose for me several times when I wanted to take a picture…
This one looks very similar to my local squirrels, and just as adorable.

What a great squirrel! The ones in my back yard are much fatter, and that is probably because I feed them too much. 🙂
