Today’s sketch of the day in my moleskine art journal are white Lilies for my mum. They are her favourite flowers.
Today is the 1st anniversary of my mum’s passing. It’s been a really difficult year for me but I know that she is happy in heaven with my dad. Keong hee huat chye mum and dad. I love you both always and you will always be in my heart ♡

beautiful but sad, a few days ago it was the first anniversary of my fathers death and the 3rd of my mothers, so I wish you strength and happiness for the future. Best wishes and blessings, Charles.

I’m sure I read somewhere that white lilies signify remembrance. It might have been on one of your posts – must check! This is a beautiful sketch and a fitting tribute to your mum. My thoughts are with you for the difficult year you have had and I pray that you will be comforted. Also I believe our spirit lives on, so I hope you won’t mind me saying that both your parents are watching over you and they were wrapping you in their arms during your difficult year and they love you.
