Today’s happy hour series sketch of the day in my art journal is a can of Asahi super dry beer from Japan. It’s not that I drink a lot I just love the design of the can.
My mum has been recycling the aluminium ring pull tabs for years and to carry on her legacy, this is a reminder to do so. My mum recycled everything. It was part if her lifestyle, even before it became trendy or compulsory to do so. She just didn’t believe in being wasteful and instilled those values in us from young.
The aluminium ring pulls can be recycled into prosthetic limbs. I have to find out where is the collection point in Penang.

One of my coworkers made a dress of the shells of all the mussels she ate for dinner.
The dress was even showed at an fashion show.
I think she could make a dress with all the ring pulls.
