Sketch of the day no 511 in my artjournal: 10% of the population are Lefties. Left handedness runs in the family. We live in a world built for right handed people. I wrote this with my right hand. Feels kinda weird but it turned out ok. Are you a Lefty?

Ahhh thank you, you make me blush. Everytime I see your posts I’m blown away by your amazing photos of the landscape and the faces of people you capture with your camera and you write beautifully. I’m not good with words. My brain forgot to wire that section. Yes golfing right handed has It’s advantages. I did some research before and decided I might as well be a right handed golfer. 1 it’s cheaper and 2 the stronger arm leads. I’m also natural footed which is confusing. When people do the push test on me I should be goofy but I’m not. Like you we are wired differently 🙂

I knew there was a reason I liked you (besides your talented drawings, beauty and overall happiness for life!)…nothing quite like being a lefty. My parents are often perplexed why I do things the way I do (I do things right-to-left, while most people always do things left-to-right), which was always good for a laugh. Nice to view life a little differently.
Also, golfing right-handed while being a lefty is great, as our dominant (stronger arm) is what is leading the swing… 🙂 Cheers!

Hahaha I relate to your daughter and I didn’t know RI genotype. Interesting thank you! My brother is a true leftie. I have learnt from this post that I’m ambidextrous I think.

Our eldest daughter is left-handed. Which means my wife and I are Rl genotype. Half leties, which is recessive. Confirmed by the fact that my father was a slapped-on leftie: wrote with his right hand because forced to. And my sister-in law is left-handed.
Congrats: means you work with your right-side brain.
Drawback: our daughter Alexandra always came home from school with her left palm blue!

Yes! I am. And there is nothing sinister about that 😉
