Today’s sketch of the day in my moleskine art journal is a toy water pistol drawn with my sharpie pens, with the words Bang bang. Inspired from the sound track in the movie kill bill by nancy sinatra. This is my first piece of artwork inspired by music. I need to do this more often. I love this song. It’s stuck in my head all day long 🙂
Do you work with music?? What’s you tune?

I remember this and all her other hits from when I was young, loved her music, she became Mrs Nancy Kissinger. I quite often listen to music when writing, often using lines from songs, or bouncing off a piece of classical music, for instance the Dance of the chickens came from the movement called the dance of the chickens in the egg, which comes from Pictures at an exhibition by Russian Composer Modest Mussorgsky, which he wrote after viewing an exhibition of his friend Victor Hartmann’s art. It is a wonderful way to work. Best wishes and blessings, Charles.
