I spent a week in Bali. I had previously fallen out of love with Bali and hadn’t been back in 3 years but I wanted to go surf so I made a trip there last week. I stayed in Canggu and Uluwatu this time round, avoiding Seminyak and Petitenget areas where I used to always stay because it is where the great restaurants and cool bars are located but it has become really commercial over the years and super crowded with the worse traffic. I decided to stop going there. Canggu on the other hand is simple still, quiet with enough good restaurants to keep my happy. Uluwatu down south is a bit harsher and arid. I don’t like it as much but the surf there is good.
When the time is right, I am moving there. I have fallen in love with Bali all over again 🙂

I was there earlier this year. I really loved the views in Uluwatu! I was able to visit Kuta, Ubud, Canggu (only the Tanah Lot Temple), and Seminyak as well. Overall, it was a really great experience. Looks like you had so much fun on your trip! 🙂
