Daily #Spoonchallenge for Spoonflower is fish. I decided to draw a Sailfish. You can find them in Malaysia in the East Coast. Again, it’s a subject I’ve been wanting to draw for the longest time but never got round to it because I forgot, had lots of excuses but here it is. It is a beautiful fish and I hope it can swim freely without being eaten π¦
Have a great weekend xoxo

Yea, its actually been a law for years in most Western States to catch and release and use barbless hooks, and most fly fisherman (me!) use minute hooks so that the skin is barely pierced… if such a thing is possible. I think learning the full ropes of making one’s own flies, studying the terrain for signs of what is alive in the area (bugs, hatch, etc.). It’s both a learning process and an environmental way of perceiving and documenting the world. I used to write in different fly journals, too. So much to do, so little time.
