Yesterday evening was the Indigo fashion show for George Town Festival held at the historical Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion, also known as the Blue Mansion. The show featured Southeast Asian fashion designers — Ong Shunmugam from Singapore, Nita Kenzo from Indonesia, Mae Teeta from Thailand and Khoon Hooi from Malaysia. The old chinese courtyard mansion provided a stunning a unique back drop to the fashion show.
The front row seats include Laurence Loh, award winning Heritage preservationist responsible for the restoration and Jimmy Choo the world famous designer, who is from Penang.

The fashion is fabulous, but also I see that the atmosphere was fun. I can actually see it in the photos. How lucky you are to be able to go. I love that people wore blue. And I love the woman (partially covered) in the doorway with her hands in the air. Fun, fun.
