I’m not the only artist in the family. My mum painted too. Here is one of her bird paintings. She loved nature, her garden and the birds in them.
This is a fairly large painting. Acrylic on canvas. There are quite a few more. I will post them up slowly š
Thank you very much to you my friends who have supported me during this time of loss and grieving for my mum. I have had really bad days and good ones. It has been a rollercoaster of emotions for me. I’m not great at sharing my feelings but I am trying to. It has been 4 months now and it gets better because I know her memory lives on xx

That’s exquisite! It reminds me if the way my great-grandmother used to paint (the technique) except she would paint on clear glass jars which looks really cool as well. I can’t wait for more paintings and sketches from you! š

Thank you. She has so much artwork around. We were supposed to do some collaboration work. Perhaps it is something I should pursue next x

Sorry to hear off your loss! An amazing painting. Obviously where your talent comes from! She would be proud of you, for sure. I lost my step dad eight years ago last Monday (not quite the same, but i knew him since I was about 13). I gets easier and the memory will always live on in you š
