I’m not the only artist in the family. My mum painted too. Here is one of her bird paintings. She loved nature, her garden and the birds in them.
This is a fairly large painting. Acrylic on canvas. There are quite a few more. I will post them up slowly š
Thank you very much to you my friends who have supported me during this time of loss and grieving for my mum. I have had really bad days and good ones. It has been a rollercoaster of emotions for me. I’m not great at sharing my feelings but I am trying to. It has been 4 months now and it gets better because I know her memory lives on xx

Thank you! The need to make them proud is strong in me but sometimes I do feel like I have fallen short somehow ;(

That is so great to hear, and actually a perfect tribute to your Mom and Dad. I always consider myself so lucky to have great parents/family ~ like you, the influence they have on my life is perfect. I want to make them proud, yet they give me the freedom to find happiness and live my life without pressure. Take Care!

Great to have you share your Mom’s work, I can really see her work in yours… This painting of the Kingfisher is incredible, they are one of my favorite birds, I see them as so elegant.
