Terry the cute Malaysian Tapir is a character I created for a children’s book but like Percy the Penguin i shelved them and locked them away in a dark corner. It’s time for them to come out to play. He needs a bit more fine tuning but I thought I’d put him out there so I don’t forget about him.
With Terry, I want him to grow up to be an eco warrior, protector of the rainforest. Obviously he is still young and has lots to learn about the forest, the plants, the animals and the magic of his home. What else do you think Terry can do? Something to think about…
Happy weekend everyone! Go out and play π

Hi Rosalind! Awesome that you will be going to Ulu Mudah. You don’t need sleeping bags nor trekking boots. Comfortable shoes or trainers that you don’t mind getting wet. You don’t need sleeping nets, not many mossys in the room but you may want to bring natural insect repellent for the rest of the area. Bring a towel, a torch, a bin liner to put your bag in if it is not waterproof, a raincoat. Food is provided for but you may want to bring your own beers with you.
Hope this helps. Drop me an email if you have any more questions. It does work! Not a dummy email. Regards, Tiffany π

Hello there, Bag Lady,
I am shortly planning a visit to Ulu Mudah. We will be travelling from Northern Ireland so don’t want to bring sleeping bags, trekking boots etc. I would like to know more about the accommodation. Are there beds and bedclothes? Are there mosquito nets? Where will we eat and what? Can we buy beer? Will robust trainers be adequate footwear? Are there any tips for our visits? I tried to make your email work but it seems to be a dummy.
Kind regards, Rosalind
