This is a sketch of another typical shop front in the George Town area. This one still has the old Nonya tiles intact which is a bit rarer. Normally they were removed and sold when nobody saw the value in them. This one looks like it is missing quite a lot of wood carving at the top of the door. I still love it.

I live in an old neighborhood with a garden in the square and Victorian townhouse all around. People miss all the details and work of the facades rushing in their cars. Too bad! thanks. . . .
