Nature is one of my favourite subjects to draw. Unfortunately in my country, there are people who do not respect nature and feel the need to burn our forests. We are currently experiencing the worst haze in many years due to the burning. I can barely see outside my window. My eyes hurt and I can’t go out. The air just smells of smoke. It’s like being in a smokey room for days on end. It doesn’t help that it hasnt rained in a long time. Being in the tropics, it should rain everyday. The weather pattern has changed around the world. It’s flooding in Europe, freezing in the states and we are experiencing a drought with water rationing.
The world has really gone mad!

Horrifying. We are out of control. There’s a new book out, I think it’s called, “The Sixth Extinction.” We are bringing about the worst extinction EVER and it’s happing fast. We are killing EVERYTHING and we WILL NOT STOP. On a happier note…you picture is lovely.

They are burning at the end of the planting season and also to clear the forests which is illegal. To make things worst, there’s a drought so there are accidental forest fires as well. Normally the rain will clear the fires and haze but it hasnt been raining like it used to for 2 months
