I’m fascinated by monks. What makes a person dedicate their whole lives to the monastery. Myanmar is a country full of monks. It is an honour to be a monk. Most people would be a monk for at least a week in their lifetime.
Colourful handicrafts. Wood carving, Painting, Lacquer ware and woven textiles are probably their main handicrafts for tourists.. They were everywhere.
When I travel to a foreign country, I love people watching. I love to see how they live, what they do and what they wear. Their traditional garment is the Lungyi. Both men and women wear them like a sarong.

It was a magical place. Went to Bagan, Pindaya – Kalaw, Inle Lake and then the Yangon area. I love phone cameras, and while they are limited, they still take great shots…as per your post 🙂

Thank you! It is such a beautiful country. I took photos of daily life because I feel all this will go soon but the buildings will remain the same more or less. x

Thank you for dropping by. You take the most amazing photos by the way. I took all my photos on my phone camera and it really doesn’t capture the beauty of the place.
2 week trek in Myanmar? Where did you go? Sounds really interesting.
