This evening I witnessed the illumination of the iconic Petronas Towers in Pink as part of Estee Lauder’s annual breast cancer awareness campaign. There was also a 3D light show to ‘bring the crowd together in a deep and emotional journey of the Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign as a symbol of togetherness.’ The theme this year is ‘Let’s Defeat Breast Cancer. We’re Stronger Together’

Last year, the national science museum was illuminated pink and Estee Lauder organised a charity walk to raise awareness, which I participated in.

This year, Petronas twin towers in pink is truly a beautiful sight. Choosing this iconic landmarks is clever. It reaches out to the whole nation, raising awareness for breast cancer and uniting the nation with the colour pink and giving us hope.

The Petronas twin towers will only glow pink on the 18th and 19th October 2013
