This cow was roaming outside my house. However much we have developed as a nation, some traditions have yet to go away. This is a free range cow that lives in the Hindu temple not too far away. Maybe a couple of km. The cows often roam around the neighbourhood and somehow manages to find their way home again. Don’t be alarmed! This cow is not for eating. Cows are sacred in the Hindu religion.
Talking about religion, I would like to wish all my Muslim friends Happy Eid al-Adha. I live on an island where you can find a Hindu temple, Buddisht temple, Mosque church all on the same street or very closeby. Respecting each others faith was how we were all brought up. Unfortunately these days it is fast changing because of dirty politics. I hope for the sake of peace that we will all go back to how it should be. Let there be peace.

I wish life was to stand still but in all reality, this free range roaming cows is a rare sight these days unless you venture out into the villages. People want to follow the western ways.
