The Bampton open day is an annual fair in August to help raise money for local charities. There were stalls with local produces, artisans, artists and craftspeople selling their handmade products and several activities throughout the day such car boot sale, dog show and a bbq lunch.
My favourite was the Teddy bear parachute jump. Your teddy bear can experience jumping off the top of the church tower and receive a certificate as proof! Another fun activity was the rubber duck race, where 300 rubber ducks were released at the top of the stream and the first to cross the finish lines wins.
What a fun quirky day out in Devon!

I know, I’m lucky to have met a mentor who steered me along the right path and I’m encouraged by other artists like yourself. Ive seen how your art has evolved because you paint all the time! I am really loving the recent paintings.

I’m not very disciplined except to sketch everyday and blog it. It keeps me focused and grounded.
