The historic town of Sebastian in Northern Spain, basque country is beautiful and rich in heritage. It has the most amazing sunsets, food and I was lucky enough to be there during the festival where the town put on a sensational fireworks show at La Concha bay and there were musical performances on several streets.

Oh yes, I forgot to mention about the missing photos. Glad to see you’ve got them back now! You really must visit again some day, and stay longer!! Let me know if you do 🙂

O wow! Lucky you. San Sebastian is beautiful and the food is amazing. I was there only a few hours. Oh no, I just realised all my photos are gone! Have to deal with that. 😦

It is quite a coincidence to learn that you went to San Sebastián, just 2 or 3 months before I first spoke with you. I’ve been there a few times as my mum is Basque! My parents even have a holiday place in San Sebastián now.
It is so nice. I have lovely memories of there, and las fiestas are always magical around the towns of the region.
If you went to the far end of La Concha, you might remember the wind sculpture — but I see you’ve already liked my painting of it! http://artfn.wordpress.com/2013/10/30/haizeen-orrazia/
