This is my first surfing trip in Devon and in England for that matter. I somehow got persuaded to try surfing in the “refreshing” waters of Middle beach,  Devon. Armed with a surf board and a winter wetsuit, it was actually not that cold but the waves were a bit too large for a beginner like myself. I learnt how to paddle outback and I have decided I am never going to hang out by the white wash where I usual get pummeled around like in a washing machine.
