I went to check out the Central St Martins degree show (Show One) at their kings cross campus, The Granary Building, 1 Granary Square last Sat. For me it was interesting to see what British young talent were churning out at their degree shows. Central St Martins is more well know for fashion but from this degree show, they are clearly producing talented students in fine art and sculpture as well.

“This year’s crop of Central Saint Martins graduate shows have surpassed expectations and created a first rate exhibition not to be missed. It is unusual to see such strong contenders from the undergraduate body competing strongly with the MA programme. I was especially impressed with the oversized drawings by Carla Raffinetti and the mirrored plexi sculptures by Samantha Scholtz.” – ArtLyst

I have taken some photos of some of my favourite pieces.
