I’m really starting to enjoy my sketch of the day. It’s true what people say about taking a month for a habit to form. Today’s sketch of the day is a wooden cart found by the side of an alley in Cairo. It’s quite hard to find stuff to draw. I’ve been slowly sketching items found in my house, the kitchen, the garden, my friends pets, and now I’ve sorted out my travel photos to start a series of travel sketches. I should have actually sketched when I was traveling, but better late than never. I prefer to sketch from real life but sketching from a photo is fun too when i can sit in the comfort of my home. I am kind of lazy, so this is a good compromise for me. Today’s sketch is taken from a friend’s photo. He’s given me permission to use them.
